About WIE

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

We aim to provide a support network for the growing number of females in the industry. We have connections within the industry and coordinate a range of events throughout the year. We hold a range of events including educational, industry and social. Follow our socials for more up to date information.

Our History

Women in Engineering (WIE) are an incorporated society of the University of Canterbury. WIE was established in 1999 and have grown to a club with approximately 800 members.
