Aurecon Internships

Applications for Aurecon's 2026/27 Summer Internship Program are now open!

 

Our award winning 12-week internship gives students the opportunity to contribute to real client projects from day one, while working alongside experienced engineers, consultants and technical specialists. They'll gain practical experience, build professional confidence, and develop valuable industry connections that can help launch their careers. We're recruiting across a wide range of engineering, science, advisory and related disciplines throughout Aotearoa. What students can look forward to:

 

  • A 12-week program designed to build capability, confidence, and professional connections.

  • Meaningful project work that positively impacts communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • Work with industry experts on diverse projects across the Asia Pacific region.

  • A dedicated support network, including a Team Leader, Buddy, Mentors and our Early Careers team.

  • A potential pathway into Aurecon's Graduate Program after completing their studies.

 

The internship runs full-time for 12 weeks from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027, with a break over Christmas and New Year. Applications close on Wednesday, 5 August, and students can apply here.
