Women in Engineering kicked off the start of the year at the University of Canterbury Clubs Day on February 20th and 21st. Continuing a popular tradition we brought back back the Tip Top ice cream van and passed out free ice creams to all member sign ups.
This year we also handed out over 200 goodie bags to Women in Engineering members. A huge thank you to our sponsors Abley, Orion, Beca and WSP, Engineering New Zealand and Red Bull for providing merchandise for this event.
This proved to be an immensely successful couple days for Women in Engineering with over 700 members signing up to the club. A great way to start the year!
