Earlier this term, Women in Engineering and ENSOC hosted our third annual diversity and inclusion in engineering evening. We were lucky enough to have five amazing speakers, who all touched on different aspects of diversity and inclusion. They also shared their personal experiences, and what work there is still left to do within the industry. A massive thank you to all our speakers, Roanna Purcaru, Kha Pham Nguyen, Ari Nicholson, Kim Rutter and Enda Crossin. We had an amazing turnout from students that responded positively and came away with a greater appreciation for the importance of diversity within the workplace.
